Flight upgrades, are they worth it? If you have been planning your travel itinerary, you may have seen the option to upgrade your flight seating. Yes, it's here to stay as more airlines are providing more seating arrangements for your preferences. It's not just first-class or economy options, you now have (on most flights) more options, such as business class and premium economy which nestles in between first and economy class seating. When traveling a distance such as overseas or from coast to coast, having a comfortable seating arrangement is important. Check out the airlines' travel mileage program for points that can be used or gained during a seating upgrade.

Why now is a great time to travel, is due to many factors. The recent pandemic had put many travel plans on hold. Now that the economy is regenerating, many people are taking the opportunity to travel. Getting out and about has been a refreshing moment for people who had felt confined during the quarantine cycle. Countries are opening back up their borders to travel, which is great for boosting their economy in the hospitality industry. It is also a great time to find travel bargains or specials which offer incentives, such as airline mileage points. Or combine packages such as sightseeing tours with a hotel bundle. The Passport Plan

Having a passport provides a great opportunity to travel the world. Although it may seem like a daunting process to obtain one. I'm here to provide some information that can help ease the process. First go to the Passport website and/or your local Post Office that provides passport services. You will Fill out and download a form, for first time applicants it's DS-11.

Once completed you will need to pay for the passport. The cost varies depending on services you select, such as standard and expedited. Which usually takes 3 to 9 weeks. Then you provide a color photo. You can go to any photo service shop or take one yourself. If taking your own photo check the requirements before submitting.

You will also need your proof of Citizenship and to submit that information with your application and passport photo and photo ID. Make copies of docs, and submit it to your Passport Agency or Acceptance Facility (Post Office, etc). Once the steps are completed, you will have a Passport book and are ready for international travel. For more information check out www.travel.state.gov
